Best Western Hotel Santa Caterina

The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our room, a junior suite, has a magnificent space , with to balconies with sea views. The resturant offered excelent food at reasonable prices, and have a lovely terrace to enjoy the summer nights. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was ok but nothing remarkable.

Comfortable beds, good shower, very clean. Evening meals taken in the restaurant were very good although on Saturday evening needed more waiting staff as they knew they were going to be very busy. Check in & out was good & reception staff very helpful.

Great hotel, lovely little pool, comfortable bed, wonderful tasty breakfast with lots of variety including the most amazing cassata & scrambled eggs. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. One staff member suggested the train into Catania rather than driving & kindly printed off the timetable then took us up to the staff gate so that we were closer to the railway station & we didn't have to walk all the way around up a steep hill, wonderful service, the train was great too, 11mins into Catania for €3.50 per person. They also let us stay by the pool after check out as we had a few hours until our next check in Ragusa, lovely. Thank you for having us.

Breakfast was very nice, fresh juice and fruits, sweet and salty variety. Personnel was very polite and helpful. Room for disabled person very well adapted only in the corridor to the room a bit steep ramp. Great restaurant with terrace with outstanding sea view from high offering also delicious meal and wine. Parking is a bit difficult because people from outside are coming for the restaurant but personnel is doing their best for the comfort of the guests.

Ubication good to get to some important points of Catania. Near the centre of Acireale by walking to find good places to eat, apart from the restaurant of the hotel.
